Race or battle?

Which do you like better.....the racing mode or the battle mode on Mario Kart?

I like the racing but I enjoy the battle mode better. I remember having so much fun playing the battle mode with others. A lot of fun memories.....

While online I like racing with people more and when friends come over or play WiFi we battle it's so much fun. I like both equally depends on the mood really.
