Reasons Animal crossing amiibo festival failed?

Post by ADMRL on Fri Apr 15, 2016 2:44 am

I was very disappointed.. Not at the game, No! never, I was disappointed at how most of the animal crossing community sees this game as a failure!   Crying or Very sad

Sure, It's fairly different from he traditional Animal crossing games we've played and loved, I can understand where Nintendo was trying to go with this, they wanted a game that would fully utilize the amiibos to sell there toys while making profit off animal crossing. It wasn't in there intentions to make a bad game, they wanted to expand there animal crossing franchise seeing as its been very successful. The game is compared to Mario party but that doesn't make them the same game, Like how monopoly(console version) isn't the same as Mario party.

I just wish people were more open minded and more accepting of new things, I'm actually glad Nintendo is trying to deliver NEW and exciting things for the fans instead of creating the same franchises over and over again with better graphics.

Animal crossing Amiibo festival is not a bad game, Its just misunderstood as a Mario party try hard.

So about the thread title, What are your personal top reasons why you think the game failed to appeal the animal crossing community as a whole?

Because the community wanted a big console release of the same old Animal Crossing series as has happened before. No one asked Nintendo for a Animal Crossing board game on the Wii U, we all wanted another cutesy Animal Crossing to loose half our lives in & pour our hearts into our town for all of one month & then go on to the next big online game that people will go to next.

That is true! I think Nintendo just likes to surprise us but what they should be doing is listening to their costumers.

Now i can see a little more as to why people didn't like this, they hyped the game up and once the trailer for it released many people were upset.

Well yea, it'd be like Nintendo saying that they're releasing another Metroid game & then Federation Force happens. OF COURSE THE FANS ARE GOING TO BE MAD. lol
